Welcoming hosts made us feel at home right away.
The shower was a significant issue. the lighting was disturbingly inadequate for any proper grooming, which certainly impacted my overall experience. a lack of basic amenities like a mirror for drying hair was frustrating, especially when traveling. I was also disappointed to find a very limited number of towels provided for our stay.

My stay at The Kingsley was marked by a beautifully refurbished room featuring a large, comfortable ensuite. The stylish decor created a relaxing atmosphere, and Peter's warm reception ensured a pleasant arrival experience. With a peaceful internal courtyard view, noise from the main road was minimal, contributing to a restful night. The complimentary parking was an added convenience that I appreciated during my work trip.
The TV channels in the room were unreliable at times.

The spacious rooms provide ample space to stretch out, especially after a long day, and some even come with lovely views of the courtyard. There's charming rustic decor that gives the place a unique feel, along with underfloor heating in the bathrooms, which is a nice touch for comfort.
The room temperatures can be a bit of a shock upon arrival, leaving you shivering while waiting for the heating to kick in. Shower water pressure varies, leading to some less-than-ideal washing experiences. There seems to be a countable number of towels that might not meet everyone's expectations. Breakfast portions have raised eyebrows, with some guests feeling a bit shortchanged. The courtyard could use some TLC for a better outdoor experience, and a few strange odor issues hint at a need for enhanced kitchen cleanliness. The bar closing early can also limit late-night options for relaxation.

The Classic Double Room was spacious and comfy, perfect for unwinding after a long day. I really liked the modern decor mixed with traditional touches. Plus, the bed was super cozy! The bathroom was also nice, and I appreciated the quality amenities provided. Just a heads up, the TV wasn’t the most reliable, which was a bit annoying.
